I Remember…

Some of you might be too young to remember, but back when emotion was greatly suppressed and I was a Grammaton Cleric First Class, there was an incident (one of many).  We found some dogs in the Nethers that belonged to some sense-offenders, and one of my comrades was putting down the dogs one by one with a shotgun.  Me, having recently recovered my emotion, could not stand this.  Then my emotions were pushed to the very limit when a dog escaped the fence and jumped on me.  It was only a puppy, and as it licked my face, my comrade, without feeling, asked for the puppy back to be destroyed.  You have to remember, humans were emotionless due to the emotion-suppressing drugs, and anybody who was caught feeling emotion was killed.

I thought my hands were tied, but then I came up with something.  I said the dog might be infected with a disease, and had to be inspected, so I took it back to my car and managed to successfully rescue it.  Long story short, I managed to “take care” of the government’s evil ways and return humans to their natural states of pure experience and feeling.

Helping animals is important, but in truth, it is more important to help other people.  There is one thing that makes humans the creatures to be protected most, and that is because of thought.  Because we have deep thought, we are fully aware of what is happening to us, consequences, the future, intense fear… no other animal suffers in the way that a human suffers.  Do your best to protect yourself, the people around you, and, well, everything around you.  Follow this principle, and your life will be meaningful and important.
